TUMBLER continue to set the pace at the top of the Doncaster Sunday Alliance League Premier Division table after beating Social Bar 2-1 to claim their third win in as many games.

Defending champions Athletico Tap Maker also posted their third successive win - a Dean Wilburn goal earning them the spoils at Bentley Top Club.

Promoted Hatfield Celtic dropped down to third after losing 2-0 at Bullcroft Sports & Pastimes for whom Gary Mundy and Gareth Collinson netted.

Corner Pin bagged a 3-1 win at Armthorpe Coronation (Phllip Doran) thanks to goals by James Roberts, Luke Townsend and Kip Harris.

Last year’s Championship runners-up Sprotbrough got off the mark following successive defeats, beating Canal Tavern - the team who pipped them for the title - by the odd goal in three. Steven Smith and Callum Smith both netted for the winners with Ross Ebbage replying for the previously unbeaten home side.
