Top panel at Lane debate
AN all-star panel will today discuss the benefits of football to society.
Former Sheffield Wednesday manager Howard Wilkinson and chairmen of both Sheffield football clubs, Kevin McCabe and Lee Strafford, are part of a stellar line up for the question and answer session.
Organised by the Public Services Academy at the University of Sheffield and Sheffield United Football Club, 'The Good of the Game: Football, Society and Globalisation' takes place between 6.30-8 pm at Bramall Lane.
The panel will debate a range of issues including whether football is losing its community links under commercial globalisation.
