THE stand-out tie in the draw for the quarter-finals of the Sheffield and Hallamshire FA Senior Cup is the one pitching together Frickley Athletic and holders Stocksbridge Park Steels.

The duo are currently a place apart in the Premier Division of the Evo-Stik League, Stocksbridge’s 7-0 win over North Ferriby last Saturday lifting them to fifth bottom, four points behind Frickley.

Added spice is the fact that the Frickley manager is Peter Rinkcavage who enjoyed success in charge at Stocksbridge.

The other Premier Division side, Worksop Town, have a home tie against Staveley MW.

Sheffield FC will meet Handsworth from Division One of the N.Counties East League.

The lowest ranked side left in, County Senior League Premier Division leaders Penistone Church, go to NCEL side Hemsworth MW.

The draw: Worksop Town v Staveley MW, Hemsworth MW v Penistone Church, Frickley Athletic v Stocksbridge PS, Sheffield FC v Handsworth, Ties on March 10 or the midweek prior.

Sheffield Sunday Senior Cup, semi-final draw: Wadsley Bridge WMC v Athersley Rec, Swinton WMC v Wombwell Main. Ties on March 18.
