But just past the hour Ryan Blackburn headed in from a free-kick and Adam White put the result beyond doubt on 90 minutes before Denton pulled one back in stoppage time to complete his hat-trick.

County Senior side Handsworth won 4-1 at NCE Division One Rossington Main with two goals each from Nathan Morritt and Luke Broadbent.

Sheffield FC saw their FA Trophy tie against Buxton postponed for a second time less than an hour before kick-off.
