It wasn't the prettiest of game son the eye but, certainly the second half of Sheffield Wednesday's clash with Barnsley at Oakwell was worth watching.

Much of the build-up had been focused on Sam Winnall ahead of a first return to his old club and as expected he received a frosty reception from the home fans who also threw a 'Peppa Pig' toy in the direction of the striker.

For every chorus of boos from the Barnsley fans, Owls supporters backed their man with a chant roaring his name and it really came as no surprise when Winnall opened the scoring, latching onto a mistake by Adam Davies to stroke home.

However, the Reds pushed and pressed for an equaliser and after being denied by some desperate defending and fine goalkeeping from Keiren Westwood, they finally got a deserved leveler when Angus MacDonald headed in from an Adam Hammill cross.

So, a share of the spoils but it was the home team who were a lot happier at the end of the game, with the dropped points and Fulham's win over Rotherham later in the afternoon meaning that Wednesday were knocked out of the top six.
