Leeds United manager Garry Monk says he and his team aspire to reach the heights of Sheffield Wednesday, after watching his side claim a deserved 2-0 win over the Owls at Hillsborough.
Marcus Antonsson and Chris Wood got the goals for Monk's side against a Wednesday team who were found wanting in most areas of the pitch.
Leeds were particularly impressive in midfield with Carlos Carvalhal's team struggling to cope with United's physicality.
After claiming his first league win since taking charge, Monk says he wants to build on the victory and used Wednesday as a 'benchmark' for what he hopes to achieve at Elland Road.
"We were playing against a very good side," Monk told The Star. "It's very difficult to play against Sheffield Wednesday, they are a very good team and one of the benchmarks for the league.
"We try to aspire to what they have done since Carlos (Carvalhal) has come through the door here at Sheffield Wednesday. We want to get ourselves elevated to that type of level."
