Sheffield Wednesday fell to a 2-1 defeat to Brighton at Hillsborough in a game which saw the Owls again fail to convert the chances the majority of the chances they created.
Gary Hooper scored right at the end but it was too late for Wednesday who had gone two goals down after strikes from Sam Baldock and Anthony Knockaert.
For The Star’s Dom Howson it was a case of ‘same old story’ for Carlos Carvalhal’s men who continue to fall behind and leave themselves whith a lot to do to pick up points.
“Brighton were clinical but Wednesday had their chances and that’s been the story of the season so far,” said Dom. “They created enough opportunities to win the games but they’ve not been ruthless enough in that final third.”
