Owls boss Carlos Carvalhal has confirmed Tom Lees and Gary Hooper will be assessed ahead of their Championship duel with Blackburn Rovers.
Centre-back Lees (knee) and striker Hooper (quad) are edging closer to first-team returns and will be checked on by Wednesday's medical staff tomorrow morning.
Speaking at his press call today, Carvalhal said: "They are progressing. They are on the pitch and are very, very near. We have one more day. Let's see tomorrow morning. We will take a decision.

"They are better now than when we talked last game which means they are very, very close to coming back."
Scotland international Steven Fletcher could be included in the matchday squad after completing a three-match suspension.
Carvalhal has no new injuries to contend with as the Owls prepare to hosts third-from-bottom Blackburn to Hillsborough on Tuesday searching for a third league win on the spin.
The Wednesday chief is adamant there is plenty more to come from his side despite their eye-catching 3-0 win over Birmingham City.

"Everything was not perfect," he stressed. "There are positive things when we lose and negative things when we win.
"There were more positives than negatives after the Birmingham game but all the time there are things to correct and improve and do better.
"It is why we are training all the time to improve and to correct the mistakes."
He praised his "absolutely fantastic" players but warned: "We must be focused. We can't sleep because we have won two games."
