Sheffield Wednesday, on behalf of chairman Dejphon Chansiri, have just added the club’s condolences to those sent worldwide to Thailand following death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The 88-year was the world's longest reigning monarch with 70 years on the throne.
The club confirmed: "As a mark of respect, flags at Hillsborough will fly at half-mast for 30 days".
The king, hailed for his skills as a diplomat and ability to reach out to ordinary people, leaves the country's monarchy stronger than at his accession in June 1946.
Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-ocha said: "He is now in heaven and may be looking over Thai citizens from there.”
