SHEFFIELD Wednesday superfan Paul Gregory made his wobbly presence felt in the capital.
Although the Owls slipped to their first defeat under manager Dave Jones at Selhurst Park last weekend, Paul aka ‘Tango’, kept passionately cheering the team on from the terraces.
It is hard not to pick out Paul in a crowd as the diehard supporter is well known for taking his shirt off at matches to reveal his ample figure before starting Wednesday chants.
Paul, who has been a season ticket holder at Hillsborough since 1979 and attends every home and away match despite living in Oxley, Wolverhampton, is known as ‘Tango’ due to his similarity to a character who appeared in an advert for a fizzy drink.
The coach driver has got a seat on the Kop but he rarely sits down.
He has got a tattoo on his right arm of the club crest and frequently shows off the guns as he looks to gee up the Wednesday faithful.
It doesn’t matter whether it is sunny, rains or snows on a Saturday afternoon; Paul always delivers a vocal topless performance.
