Sheffield Wednesday's Under-23s are the Professional Development League Two North champions.
Hull City's defeat away to Birmingham City tonight ensured the Owls' development squad secured the title.
Boss Neil Thompson said: "I'm really proud of the lads. They have done great all season.
"We have got quite a young squad but we have obviously been supplemented occasionally by the first-team squad. It is terrific to have had such a good level of consistency this year.

"We have been solid defensively and not given a lot of goals away and we have managed to get the goals to win the games.
"We had a little bit of an indifferent start and an iffy finish but we had a spell in the season where we got lots of wins back to back.
"Credit to all the boys who have played. They should be really proud of themselves."

Thompson's side could have sealed top spot sooner but they failed to beat Sheffield United and Leeds United in their final two league outings.
"It is a big thing winning it and getting over the line," he said. "We have had chances in the last two to three weeks to put it to bed but we didn't quite do it which was frustrating."
Wednesday will now play Millwall in the U23 Professional Development League 2 play-off semi-final. A date and time has yet to be finalised.
