leroy Lita has been signed by the Owls on loan from Swansea for the rest of the season.
He is set to be in the squad for tomorrow’s match at Charlton.
Manager Dave Jones has been looking to bring in two strikers in the January transfer window.
Lita said on Twitter that he is pleased to have joined the Owls.
The 28-year-old spent two months on loan at Birmingham before Christmas.
He has played for Bristol City, Reading and Middlesbrough during his career and had loan spells at Charlton and Norwich.
A loan move for Wednesday’s young striker Caolan Lavery to Southend was confirmed today.
He is joining Paul Sturrock’s club for the rest of the season and is eligible for tomorrow’s match at Chesterfield.
