The Owls’ postponed FA Cup fifth-round tie against Charlton will be played next Monday, kick-off 7.45pm.

It is being played on a Monday because of a UEFA directive that means FA Cup games cannot be played on the same night as Champions League ties.

Hillsborough’s usual match night is Tuesday - but European games take place on that day next week, including Olympiakos v Manchester United.

The Owls’ home Championship game against QPR a week tomorrow has been put back to Tuesday, March 18, 7.45, because of the new Cup date.

The Charlton game was called off on Saturday because the Hillsborough pitch was waterlogged.

Winners of the tie face Sheffield United away in the quarter-finals on the weekend of March 8-9.
