Sheffield Wednesday have today completed the double signing of Charlton left-back Rhoys Wiggins and Senegalese international Moudou Sougou.
Wiggins has joined for an undisclosed fee from the Addicks, penning a three-year deal, while winger Sougou, released by Marseille yesterday, has agreed a two-year contract.
Wiggins, a product of Crystal Palace's youth set-up, played for Bournemouth before heading to Charlton. The 27-year-old, a key member of the Addicks side who gained promotion to the Championship in 2012, has racked up 128 appearances for the London club but has slipped down in the pecking order under boss Guy Luzon.
Sougou, meanwhile, trained with his new Wednesday teammates for the first time yesterday.
The 30-year-old started his career with Senegal side AS Douanes at a teen before moving to Portugal with Uniao Desportiva de Leiria in 2004.
The speedy forward has also represented Vitoria, Académica de Coimbra and CFR Cluj - where one of his teammates was Owls striker Sergiu Bus. Sougou has spent the last two seasons on loan at Ligue 1 club Evian Thonon Gaillard.
Wiggins and Sougou will wear shirt numbers 16 and 24 respectively.
The duo could make their debuts in Saturday's Championship opener versus Bristol City.
