Liam Palmer has signed a contract extension with Sheffield Wednesday, which will keep him at the club until 2018.
The 22-year-old from Worksop has been in excellent form for the Owls this season playing in a variety of roles for Dave Jones and his successor Stuart Gray.
Palmer, who spent last season on loan at Tranmere Rovers, has made 37 appearances for Wednesday during the current campaign.
After playing in the 1-0 victory against Brighton at Hillsborough on Tuesday night Palmer tweeted: “Delighted with the win tonight ! Even more delighted that I have signed a 3 year contract extension at the club #SWFC.”
