Stuart Gray feels like he has three new signings after revealing Sam Hutchinson, Kieran Lee and Tom Lees are all in contention to play some part of the Owls’ trip to Leeds on Saturday.
Gray says the trio are fit again and are all likely to return to the squad for the televised clash at Elland Road.
And their returns have given the Owls head coach the opportunity to freshen up his side after three games without a win
He said: “It will be like having three new signings for us.
“Lee and Hutchinson are available and that is fantastic news.
“We’ve missed Tom Lees and it’s good to have him back in training.”
Hutchinson has not played since suffering a back injury against Millwall six weeks ago while Lee has been absent with a groin problem since August 19.
Defender Lees – who joined Wednesday from Leeds in the summer – suffered a hamstring problem during last week’s Capital One Cup clash with Manchester City.
Kamil Zayatte is expected to be out for two to three weeks with the hamstring injury he suffered in Tuesday night’s draw with Ipswich Town.
