This Sunday will see a reunion of the Owls team that memorably secured promotion to the Championship a decade ago.
Hillsborough’s newly refurbished 1867 Lounge will stage the special event to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the 2004/05 promotion-winning season.
A number of members of that squad will be attending, including Lee Bullen, now part of the Owls’ coaching set-up, West Bromwich Albion utility player Chris Brunt and Stoke City midfielder Glenn Whelan.
After a roller-coaster campaign which included a managerial change and a patchy end to the regular season, Wednesday triumphed in a thrilling play-off final at the Millennium Stadium, beating 10-man Hartlepool United 4-2 after extra time.
Goals from Jon-Paul McGovern, Steve MacLean, Glenn Whelan and Drew Talbot ensured the Owls emerged victorious in front of more than 40,000 Wednesdayites in the Welsh capital.
Sky Sports presenter and Owls Community patron David Garrido will compere an evening of fun and nostalgia this weekend.
The sold-out event features comedian Gary Marshall, an exclusive auction, a fun casino, a question and answer session with the players, photo opportunities and a raffle.
Doors open at 4pm and the event gets underway at 5.15pm. All funds raised will go to the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme.
Tickets are sold out but supporters can request to be placed on the reserve list by calling firstname.lastname@example.org or ring 0114 324 0523.
