Wednesday are looking for goals from Leon Best at the third time of asking.
And the on-loan striker from Blackburn is eager to add to the two that he scored in his two loan spells at Hillsborough in 2005-06.
His Ewood Park career was hampered by a cruciate ligament injury that he suffered soon after his £3m move from Newcastle in the summer of 2012.
Best told The Star: “It was upsetting. But it’s given me a new regime. I enjoy doing a lot of gym work. I didn’t really do a lot before but I take pride in it now.”
He made a comeback last March and has made eight appearances for Rovers this season and scored twice.
“I have been trying to keep myself in the best possible condition, Now it’s all about games,” he said. “It’s a big Cup game (against Charlton today); if I was picked I’d be delighted to play.
“I have good memories of here (the Owls). I’m delighted that I’m back and they’re on a good run.
“I want to be playing. I love football. I’ve had a hard time not playing at Blackburn. I thank the manager and everyone here for giving me this opportunity.”
