JOSE Semedo believes that the sky is the limit for the Owls now they are back in the Championship.
The midfield star says “anything is possible” if the club keep building on the foundations of promotion.
He expects an influx of new players this summer as Dave Jones looks to strengthen the squad.
“What we have achieved since the beginning of this season has given us a very good platform,” he told The Star. “We are definitely going to get some new players and then do the best we can in the Championship.
“We might get to the Premier League. Who knows? I hope so. Anything is possible.”
Semedo is still savouring his memorable first season at Hillsborough, which brought him six Player of the Year awards as well as promotion: s“It’s been amazing for us” he said. “We had our ups and downs.
“The turning point for me was when it started to look as if we might not get second spot yet when we played at home and when we played away the fans kept coming.
“We thought ‘they are coming because they believe; if they believe, why don’t we?’ We kept going. We have a big responsibility to the fans.
“They deserve promotion. More than anyone they deserve it.”
Wednesday are pleased with season-ticket sales, which have risen past 11,000 after they became available again.
The box office was closed for a time until the club knew which division they would be in next season.
Prices are 10 per cent lower than those that the club would have charged two years ago had they not been relegated from the Championship.
