The Star teamed up Football League title sponsors npower to offer readers the chance to win 45 pairs of tickets to watch Sheffield Wednesday v Colchester United on April 2. And it’s free to enter!

It is Mothering Sunday the following day, so there is no better time to put ‘mums on seats’ and take them along to the match.

In recent seasons, more mothers have been going to Football League matches as clubs invest in improved facilities, and make match days a more enjoyable family experience. And now npower is supporting that with 45 pairs of tickets as part of its Football Saver initiative.

The game itself presents the Owls with a chance to improve their record against the U’s. Wednesday have won only four of their 17 meetings so far, drawing five and losing eight. You have to go back to four years this month for the last time they beat Colchester, 2-0, Frankie Simek and a Matthew Mills own goal doing the damage.

So, for your chance to put mums on seats, and hopefully see the Owls improve their League One standing, please answer the following question: Who was manager at Wednesday before Gary Megson? Email your answer to npower@paulridleyltd.com with ‘Owls v Colchester’ in the subject line.

Include your address and a daytime contact telephone number. Fans switching their gas and electricity to npower on the Football Saver tariff, paying by direct debit, will get a £45 Football League voucher to spend in their club shop – with all £45 going to the club. A win-win for fans and clubs alike! For more information visit www.npower.com/footballsaver or call 0800 915 7783.

Terms: Competition closes at midnight on March 24. Tickets are non-transferable, and valid for Wednesday v Colchester only. Tickets will be left for winners at the ticket office for collection on the day of the match. Usual SNL rules apply - copies or requests, to SNL Promotions Manager, Sheffield Newspapers, York Street, Sheffield, S1 1PU
