The only thing easy to predict from this week's matches is that Billy Sharp will score and someone will hit a screamer for Wednesday...but here goes.

Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United

Leeds United boss Steve Evans

Leeds United boss Steve Evans

The underdog tag doesn't sit quite as easily at Leeds United as it did at Rotherham so that siege mentality built up in derby games will be a little harder to muster for Steve Evans this time around for a clash he relishes. Having said that, Leeds will be underdogs going into this one given the form Wednesday are in. The last meeting between the sides was a bit drab, only lit up by Marco Matias' stunning goal in a 1-1 draw but the Owls are a completely different proposition since then. PREDICTION: Sheffield Wednesday 1 Leeds United 0

Rotherham v QPR

The midweek win over Brighton came a little out of the blue for the Millers, off the back of defeats to Leeds and Preston, but it's that ability to pull off an unlikely result that is keeping them out of the relegation zone. QPR have yet to click under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and they are definitely beatable, but a draw wouldn't be a bad result for Neil Redfearn's side here. PREDICTION: Rotherham 1 QPR 1

Colchester United v Sheffield United

It's all or nothing for Sheffield United at the minute. They seem to either defend well or attack well and only against Bradford City, of late, have they shown both. The Blades will take great heart in that comeback against Wigan in midweek, having been 3-0 down, but they can;t afford to give teams a head start. Should be a comfortable away win against relegation threatened Colchester, but a scrappy one would do. PREDICTION: Colchester United 0 Sheffield United 2

Doncaster Rovers v Gillingham

A really good test of how far Rovers have improved under Darren Ferguson and a match that, if they win, would bring genuine belief that a play off push shouldn't be questioned. Ferguson's side performed well and drew plenty of plaudits for their display against a difficult Stoke City side in the FA Cup last week and they'll need all of that drive again to get something from second-placed Gillingham. PREDICTION: Doncaster Rovers 1 Gillingham 1

Shrewsbury v Barnsley

The Reds are in a run of semi-decent form but they come up against a Shrews side who obviously have character after responding to their 7-1 defeat to Chesterfield by dumping Championship side Cardiff City out of the FA Cup. Lee Johnston's side should win, but maybe only just. PREDICTION: Shrewsbury 0 Barnsley 1

Wigan v Chesterfield

Danny Wilson has got the Spireites moving up the table but they'll be hard pushed to get anything from the DW Stadium this weekend. Wigan may have crumbled under the weight of Sheffield United's pressure on Tuesday to throw away a three goal advantage, but they did something similar to Chesterfield earlier in the season, coming back from 2-0 down to win late on. Hard to see Gary Caldwell's side not bouncing back here. PREDICTION: Wigan 2 Chesterfield 0
