WEDNESDAY players past and present got together at Hillsborough to take a peek at the club’s 144-year history.

Captain Rob Jones and centre-back partner Danny Batth joined Don Megson, Jack Whitham, John Pearson, Gerry Young and Brian Joicey at the launch of a major new book. Fans queued to have their copies of Sheffield Wednesday The Complete Record signed by the players.

Line-ups and statistics for every league and cup game up to the end of last season are given.
