SHEFFIELD Wednesday can put plans into action for the resumption of football even before next season’s fixtures are announced on Friday.
The club have announced prices for the Hillsborough friendlies against Leeds and Stoke, and tickets go on sale today.
If bought in advance, the tickets cost £12 for adults and £6 for children.
The Owls face Leeds on July 23 and Stoke the following Saturday, a week before the league season starts.
The Football League will announce the fixtures next Friday morning.
Tickets for the friendlies can be bought either at the Owls Megastore or online at swfc.co.uk/shop. Tickets bought via the internet can be printed out at home.
Not all of Hillsborough will be open. The Kop and the South Stand will be available to home fans for the visit of Leeds, with the North Stand only open to disabled supporters.
For the Stoke match, the home areas will be the North and South stands. Both games kick off at 1pm.
Wednesday will have a week’s training before going to work in Austria between July 6 and 13 and playing a low-key game there as a fitness exercise that will involve all the squad.
Three days after they return, the next stop is at Worksop for a game designated as a first-team fixture though Town are in the Evo-stik League.
The other main friendlies are away to derby rivals Rotherham United and Barnsley.
