GARY Megson got his man today when he signed Arsenal forward Sanchez Watt on loan until January 16.

The Owls manager plunged into the loan market again ahead of tomorrow’s deadline after Gary Madine was ruled out for six weeks with a broken toe.

Watt, aged 20, can play up front or out wide. He has had two spells at Leeds, for three months at the end of the 2009-10 season, when the Elland Road club earned promotion, and for the whole of the 2010-11 campaign.

In total he made 13 League and Cup starts for them plus 19 appearances as a sub and scored one goal.

He also spent a month at Southend early in 2010.

Watt signed his first professional contract in July 2008 and made his debut for Arsenal in September, 2009 – he scored against West Brom in the Carling Cup.

He has also played for England Under-16s, U-17s and U-19s.
