OWLS boss Gary Megson didn’t get his first win but his team did get a point as they managed a 0-0 draw at Bournemouth, writes digital editor Graham Walker.

Sheffield Wednesday were fortunate not to taste defeat again, as Bournemouth’s Michael Symes missed a penalty.

But Isaiah Osbourne headed straight at home side keeper Shwan Jalal as the visitors had the best of the early chances.

Symes had the chance to put Bournemouth ahead when he was fouled in the area by Reda Johnson, but he smashed the resulting penalty wide.

Shaun Cooper also went close when his shot hit the post.
