Sheffield Wednesday boss Stuart Gray is relishing this weekend’s clash with Nottingham Forest, insisting that the Owls do not fear the Championship leaders.

Gray made the admission after Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup tie at Burnley, which saw Wednesday beat his old club 1-0 at Turf Moor thanks to Atdhe Nuhiu’s late penalty kick.

“We’ve got an important game against Forest on Saturday who are in good form,” Gray said.

“But we are in good form, too, and we don’t fear anybody.

“The team spirit is good and I’ve got a group of players who are giving everything for the cause.”

Forest, of course, have ex-Owls favourite Michail Antonio in their ranks and the winger has made a flying start to his career at the City Ground, scoring four goals in four league starts to date.

But the 24-year-old was taken off at half time as Forest beat Huddersfield in the cup on Tuesday, and could face a race against time to be fit to face his former club at the weekend.
