GARY Megson today admitted to an interest in Swansea’s Ferrie Bodde.
The Owls manager, on the look-out for a creative midfield man, said: “I tried to sign Ferrie quite a few years ago when I was at Bolton.
“At that time he had really bad luck with cruciate [knee ligament] problems and he’s been out for a long time.
“He’s a really good player. I don’t know if anything will come off. It might suit Swansea, it might certainly suit Wednesday, it might suit Ferrie.
“It’s early days yet but it’s certainly something I would be interested in.
“I’d need to speak to Brendan [Rodgers, Swansea manager] and Huw Jenkins [Swans chairman] about it.”
Any move would probably be a loan. The window for full transfers and half-season loans closes next Tuesday but the market for emergency loans opens a week after that.
