Three cheers for Trevor: Former Owls player and manager Trevor Francis has been back in town to show his support for grassroots football.

The ex-England striker handed over a new kit to Sheffield junior side Hallam Rangers at their indoor training facility at Mylnhurst School, Ecclesall, with the strip provided by sponsors and car dealers Pentagon Sheffield as part of a youth football iniative run by England backers Vauxhall. Francis, said: “It is great to see a local side enjoying their football. It is vital that we support grassroots football - this is a fantastic initiative and one I am proud to support. picture: steve ellis
