It will be interesting to see how the guys returning from international disappointment will fare, mainly Barry Bannan.

Bannan played his part in Scotland's last two games and was lauded by Gordon Strachan for his performances prior to meeting up.

It can’t be easy for any player to shrug off the massive disappointment that Scotland have had to endure and then go straight back into trying to produce the excellent performances that he has so far done for most part of this season.

The Scots had pulled themselves into a position where they could make the World Cup qualifying play-offs but then a 2-2 draw in their final game in Slovenia ended their hopes.

Hopefully Bannan can put behind him what has happened over the last week or so and concentrate on the game in hand, and its not just him that this relates to.

The whole squad have to dig in and start grinding out some positive results and this starts with a solid base to work from, ie solid defensively.

You cannot win games by conceding too many goals. Clean sheets win you points and then you build on that to win games. Again, we should take plenty of positives from the Leeds game and build on them for Saturday.
