Owls head coach Stuart Gray has paid tribute to the club’s “incredible” fan-base ahead of their Early Bird discount for 2014/15 season tickets ending tonight.
More than 10,000 Sheffield Wednesday supporters have taken advantage of the deal, with the club having already exceeded last year’s sales at the same point.
Gray, writing in his programme notes before Saturday’s defeat to Watford, said: “It has been said many times before, but the fans are the true lifeblood of any football club and at this one, we are so fortunate to enjoy support that is second to none.
“Home and away, our backing is incredible and I guarantee first hand the lift it gives the players and the staff.”
The Early Bird scheme is open to existing and new season ticket holders and is available until 7pm in store tonight or midnight online.
Tickets are priced at £360 for adults on the Kop, equating to £15.65 per match, with concessions from £195 (£8.47 per game) while juniors aged under 11 can watch the Owls for £50 (£2.17 per match).
A club spokesperson said: “All supporters who purchase before March 31 are guaranteed this is the cheapest way to watch Wednesday for the next campaign.”
