Sheffield Wednesday beat Bury 3-1 in their second pre-season friendly.
Daniel Nardiello, the former Rotherham United striker, equalised in the 40th minute, cancelling out Jacques Maghoma’s early opener.
The Owls fielded a strong side, with Keiren Westwood making his first start since arriving from Sunderland and Glenn Loovens also getting a run-out.
After the break, Westwood made way for Joe Wildsmith while Kamil Zayatte and Joe Mattock have replaced Glenn Loovens and Sam Hutchinson.
Not long into the second half Atdhe Nuhiu had Wednesday back in front when he headed home from Jacques Maghoma’s free kick.
Giles Coke’s low strike made it 3-1 for the Owls.
