Former Sheffield United star Jamie Murphy admits he is looking forward to returning to the Steel City as his Brighton side face Wednesday at Hillsborough tonight.
The Scottish winger left United earlier this season and said: "I’ve had a few requests for tickets and being in Sheffield was a big part of my life.
"I made some friends there, people I will keep in touch with for the rest of my life.
"I will see a couple of them before the game. I don’t know if the Sheffield United boys will be allowed to get themselves into Hillsborough! But they will be trying, I’m sure."
When asked if he had any cross-city mates at Hillsborough, the Scot smiled: “No! But that’s just by chance.
"I knew Chris Maguire and a few others when they were there. But a lot has changed this year.
"There are a few different names who weren’t there last year."
Wednesday go into the game unbeaten in ten games, while Brighton have yet to taste defeat all season.
"Wednesday are doing great, pushing up higher than they have been in the last couple of years,” Murphy added.
"But we know we have the ability to win the game.
"I don’t think we go into any game looking for a draw, or looking to hold on."
