Sheffield Wednesday have completed the permanent signings of Watford duo Daniel Pudil and Almen Abdi.
Czech Republic international Pudil returns to Hillsborough, having impressed on loan at the Championship club last season. The left-back played 42 times for the Owls as they reached the Play-Off final.
Pudil, who had his medical at Wednesday yesterday, has joined for an undisclosed fee. He trained with Wednesday today.
Attacking midfielder Abdi, meanwhile, is believed to have cost the Championship club around £4m. The Switzerland international passed his medical on Tuesday night.
Abdi, who has spent the past four seasons at Vicarage Road, started 25 Premier League matches last season but was deemed surplus to requirements by new Hornets head coach Walter Mazzarri.
The pair could feature in Wednesday’s final pre-season friendly against League One side Port Vale on Sunday.
