Sheffield United's unbeaten run in League One moved up to nine games with an impressive 3-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town at Greenhous Meadow.

The victory came by way of an absolute belter from Billy Sharp from outside the box and Daniel Lafferty doubled the lead with his first for the Blades.

Sharp notched up his second - the first time he had bagged a brace since Boxing day 2012 - to complete the scoring and send United into Saturday's crunch Yorkshire derby with Bradford City in fine fettle.
