NEIL Warnock is Marmite. You love him or hate him.

Some fans would give their right arm to see him back at Bramall Lane. Others would give their left for him to stay at home in Cornwall. Sheffield United themselves insist they won’t step back in time and re-employ him.

Yet Twitter has been reverberating with comment on the ex Leeds United and Blades boss. As well as the general theme of Danny Wilson’s dismissal.

Here is a flavour of what’s being said on the net:

Fahad Khan: Would love to see Warnock back at Sheff Utd. Only Sheffielder capable of taking the Blades back to the Premier League.

Pete Shillito: He’s a man motivator, not a good tactician and wouldn’t attract top talent due to reputation. Thanks but no thanks.

David Furniss: Warnock has had his finger in many pies. Be good for transfers - director of football?

Ross Wainwright: His days as manager are behind us, lets have a fresh start but a role behind the scenes would be good.

Ant Widdison: At the of the day DW should never have been given the managers job in the first place. His record is rubbish throughout his career.

Nick_The_Blade ‏replied: “He almost got us promotion last season. If Simo had scored that penalty you wouldn’t be saying that!

Max Goddard: Morgs knows the players better than anyone, as he’s been training with them and the U21s.

Ben Blakemore added: “Best win percentage at Lane for a while. Record wasn’t too shabby here.”

Curtis Woodhouse: Stuart McCall or Chris Morgan would be good choices in my opinion, 5 games to go we can still do it.

SUFC Facts: Let’s have a huge turn out on Sat. Loud & in numbers. Give Morgs the drive & support!

Adam Reed: Rumoured that Chris Morgan’s first signing will be Iain Hume.

Geoff Twentyman: Time is a diminishing aspect for all modern day football managers. Did the Blades ever replace the striker who was imprisoned?

@JackBBK: I always supported him. We played some magnificent football last season and have been solid this season. However some people cant get past his Wednesday links. Bad decision.
