Hull City have announced the signing of Harry Maguire from Sheffield United.
The Tigers confirmed a deal worth £2.5m for Maguire, who has signed a three-year deal with option of a further 12 months.
The Sheffield-born 21-year-old departs Bramall Lane having made an incredible 166 appearances for the Blades, starting with his senior debut just three years ago.
Maguire told the Hull City website: “It’s taken a long time, a bit longer than I wanted, but once I knew Hull were interested, it was a no-brainer for me.
“I’ve played a lot of games as a young lad, I’m still a young lad at 21, but I’m a big centre half and hopefully I can fight my way into the team and play regularly.
“Playing in the Premier League is an ambition of mine. I needed a new challenge after playing three years consecutively in League One.”
