RYAN Flynn believes Sheffield United’s team spirit could hold the key to success against Tranmere Rovers this weekend.
Flynn, the former Falkirk winger, was on target at Carlisle three days ago as Danny Wilson’s side moved to within a point of the League One leaders.
“We have got a real togetherness and we are glad we managed to reward the excellent travelling support,” Flynn said.
“December is always an important month for everybody. The games come thick and fast, so we now move on to Tranmere Rovers at Bramall Lane.”
Despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Portsmouth, Rovers remained in first place ahead of Saturday’s visit to South Yorkshire.
United, who triumphed 3-1 at Brunton Park, are third and Flynn added: “I am sure our fans will turn out in numbers and be right up for the game.
“The atmosphere they can create is second to none and it’s a massive help.
“Tranmere have been something of a surprise package but they are there on merit and it will be another tough game.”
