Sheffield United will have Paul Coutts available again tomorrow, the midfielder having missed the midweek draw with Walsall.
Speaking ahead of the Blades League One match against Port Vale at Bramall Lane, boss Nigel Clough said the former Derby player had suffered a couple of minor knocks that needed resting but is now fit to play.
Goalkeeper Mark Howard, who had been out for a month with a back injury, also came through that game unscathed and is likely to maintain his place in the starting XI.
Clough said: “Coutts is available. He had missed out with back and hamstring issues...nothing serious, just the number of games (he’s played).
“Mark Howard is okay and it helped he didn’t have a lot to do at Walsall.”
The Blades manager also said that Stefan Scougall returned to training this week. The Scottish midfielder hasbn’t played since the FA Cup defeat to preston at the beginning of February.
United go into tomorrow’s match against Robbie Page’s Port Vale having failed to win since beating Rochdale on February 24.
