Chris Morgan has revealed that play-off places will be up-for-grabs when Preston North End visit Bramall Lane tomorrow, writes James Shield.
The Sheffield United manager, whose team enter the end of season knockouts following their meeting with Simon Grayson’s side, said: “Everybody, for me, is competing for a position. Everyone is pushing and people have put themselves right at the forefront during training too.
“What we’ve got is 20 or so lads who all want to be involved and they are all going to have a role in what we’re trying to do. They’re all involved.”
Morgan added: “We’ll always name the starting eleven we think is the best one for that particular game.
Meanwhile, United are publishing a 3D edition of their matchday programme for the game against Preston.
Editor Kevin Cookson, who has overseen the project, said: “We have had some encouraging feedback regarding our programme this season but we are always looking at ways to improve and are hoping that Unitedites see this issue has real substance and style as well as it being a must for collectors.
“Around 60 per cent of the editorial pages will have a 3D feel and the aim is to bring to life the excellent work of club photographer Martyn Harrison.”
