It’s usually one of the first results that Sheffield United left back Matt Hill looks for, but on Saturday he’ll be hoping Bristol City’s scoreline is a defeat.
Hill, aged 32, began his professional career with the Robins and he went on to make more than 200 appearances for the Ashton Gate club before a transfer to Preston North End in January 2005.
He said: “I’ve some great memories of Bristol City - it is where it all began for me as a schoolboy, then YTS and then as a professional.
“I always look for their result on a Saturday.
“I think Louis Carey is the only player still there from when I played with the club but I’m sure there’s still some of the staff around.
“They’re a big club like we are. They try to play it the right way, which most of the clubs in this league try to do.
“We have to go there and be positive like the manager wants us to.”
