Sheffield United: Kyle Walker looking forward to Bramall Lane homecoming

Tottenham’s former Sheffield United defender Kyle Walker says he ‘can’t wait’ to make a return to Bramall Lane.

Sheffield lad Walker’s current club were paired with his old side in the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup, with Spurs heading north on the week of January 26.

Walker made a return to the Tottenham line-up last week against Besiktas after suffering from a pelvis injury for nine months which had forced him to miss England’s World Cup campaign in Brazil over the summer. 
And after Tottenham had disposed of Newcastle and the draw was made for the last four of the League Cup, Walker tweeted: “Great result tonight, will be special to go back to Bramall Lane in the semis... can’t wait!!”

The match could also see the return of Kyle Naughton who had gone to White Hart Lane in a joint deal with Walker for £9m in 2009. Naughton was an unused subsitute in Spurs quarter final victory
