OUT-OF-FAVOUR Sheffield United striker Richard Cresswell has joined League Two strugglers York City on a month’s loan.
The vastly experienced forward, who began his career with the Minstermen, is set to stay at Bootham Crescent until April 20.
The 35-year-old has made just three starts for the Blades this season.
United manager Danny Wilson said: “This is an opportunity for Richard to go and play; his chances have been limited here in recent months. We’ve got a call back option on him should it be required and I think he will do well up there.”
