Sheffield United manager David Weir has challenged Conor Coady to deliver another eye-catching performance if he features against Atromitos FC tonight, writes James Shield.

Coady, who arrived at Bramall Lane on loan from Liverpool earlier this week, made his first appearance for the South Yorkshire club at Alfreton on Monday.

“We were very pleased with him,” Weir said. “He did everything we asked.

“Technically, Conor is very strong. That’s evident and it was one of the reasons why we wanted to bring him here.

“He’s comfortable in different roles which gives us more flexibility and eager to learn which is also a good sign so we’re looking forward to working with him because the more competition the better.”
