Fantastic result for United. Great response to the changes. Well done Morgs and crew. The first obstacle overcome. Brentford on Tuesday is the big one and it is nice to feel confident that United can get the right result.

Pleased for Morgs; he’s a genuine, local lad and deserves a chance. A good start and that’s what he needed. It sounds like the players put a shift in for him and that speaks volumes!

Looks like we got hit by ‘new manager’ syndrome today coupled with the fact that after JJ went off we just weren’t the same team. If only Michail were still fit? I reckon the United of the Sheffield variety also benefited from ‘new manager’ bounce as well. We should pick up three or four points from Blackpool and Ipswich.

I just think we switched off in the second half. We could have been tenth if we’d held on but I still think we’ve just about done enough to stay up.

Wednesday’s second-half display was awful.
