Sheffield United's FA Cup opponents Oldham have confirmed that their players and staff have been paid their November wages.

Latics' employees did not receive their monthly wages on time with the Sky Bet League One club struggling for cash.

But a club statement, posted on the Latics' official website on Wednesday evening, read: "Oldham Athletic (2004) AFC Limited can confirm that November wages have been paid to players and staff."

David Dunn's side have won just one of their last six league games and Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Crewe left Oldham 21st in League One and a point from the safety line.

They are due at Bramall Lane on Saturday for an FA Cup second round encounter.
