Last night saw Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday book a place in the third round of the Capital One Cup by seeing off Premier League opposition.

United took West Ham to a penalty shoot-out at Upton Park before Mark Howard saved from Enner Valencia and Michael Doyle slotted home the crucial spot kick.

Meanwhile, up north at Turf Moor, Wednesday defeated newly-promoted Burnley, with in-form Atdhe Nuhiu coming off the bench to score a penalty after Jeremy Helen was brought down by former Doncaster Rovers and Barnsley defender Jason Shackell.

After the games fans and a few well known names from both the Blades and the Owls sounded their delight at the results and here are a few examples of what the supporters had to say.
