Former Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday player Carl Bradshaw is set to lead a team of Blades Legends into action tomorrow for charity.
All proceeds from the match at Sheffield FC’s Coach and Horses ground will go to two charities, CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and Cruse Bereavement Care.
Over 1,000 tickets have been sold for the game, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of Eckington Boys and Belles Junior Football Club.
Their chairman Zaid Askwith said: “It’s great that we’ve sold so many tickets - every one puts more money into two charities that are close to our hearts.
“We’d love to sell out and, although we expect to have around 100 tickets left on the turnstiles, we’re encouraging people to contact us in advance so we can reserve their ticket for them.”
People who can’t attend but would still like to donate can visit www.eckingtonbfc.co.uk and click on the 30th anniversary banner.
Entry is £1 for the 4pm kick-off.
