Nigel Clough’s cup specialists Sheffield United will earn themselves a home tie against either Manchester United or Cambridge United in the fifth round of the FA Cup, if they can beat Preston in their fourth-round replay next week.

United or Preston were drawn at home following their 1-1 stalemate at the weekend, while Cambridge held their Manchester namesakes to a 0-0 draw on Friday evening.

Elsewhere, West Brom face West Ham in an all-Premier League tie while Middlesbrough, who beat Manchester City away in the fourth round, have the chance to cause another away upset when they travel to face Arsenal.

Bradford’s reward for beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge is a home tie, against either Sunderland or Fulham.

The draw took place live on the BBC’s One Show on Monday evening, with Gary Lineker and Alex Jones drawing the balls.

John Cain, of United’s Official Supporters’ Club, represented the Blades at The One Show, accompanied by a selection of London-based Unitedites.

United’s fourth round replay against Simon Grayson’s Preston will take place next Tuesday.

Fifth round ties will take place across the weekend of February 14/15 2015 - the weekend the Blades are scheduled to travel to Bristol City in Sky Bet League One.

Clough’s United, who face Tottenham in the second leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening, beat Crewe Alexandra, Plymouth Argyle and Queens Park Rangers to reach the fourth round stage. Last season, they reached the semi-finals at Wembley before losing to Hull City.

FA Cup draw in full (Ties to be played across the weekend of February 14 and 15): Crystal Palace v Liverpool/Bolton, Arsenal v Middlesbrough, Aston Villa v Leicester, West Brom v West Ham, Bradford v Sunderland/Fulham, Blackburn v Stoke/Rochdale, Derby v Reading, Preston/Sheffield United v Cambridge/Manchester United.
