Junior footballers (under 7s, under 11s, under 12s and under 15s) are being invited to try their hand at a new soccer school in Sheffield.

Former Sheffield Wednesday first team player Gavin Bailey has run his Qualitas Sport academy in Derbyshire for over a year and is now bringing it to the city.

Technical, tactical, physical and psychological benefits are at the core of the programme which even offers its own counselling psychologist. The school has already seen a number of its soccer prodigies signing contracts with clubs including Manchester United, the Blades and Owls, Nottingham Forest and Chesterfield.

Training staff include ex-Owl Craig Ludlam,former Scunthorpe apprentice Ashley Jackson, ex-Chesterfield player Jonathan Pickess and non-league player Richard Lake .

Cost will be a skill session charge of £5.Coaching surface at all venues is on 3G.

Trial dates are

Mon June 1: Ages U7 to U15, King Edwards School 6pm–7:30pm.

Wed June 3: U7 to U15, Henry Fanshawe School, Dronfield 6pm-7:30pm.

Sat June 6: U7s to U11, Saturdays:Henry Fanshawe Schoo, Dronfield 9am 10:30am.

U12 to U15s, Henry Fanshawe School, 10:30am – 12:00pm.
