Sheffield United’s first team squad is unlikely to undergo major surgery during next month’s transfer window, manager Nigel Clough has confirmed.
“I’m not sure there will be big or lots of changes in January,” he said. “I’m going to try and work with this group.
“We’ve got to make decisions on the loan players we’ve got and maybe get one or two more in.
“Our priority will be to stay up this season and build from there.
“We will have an opportunity to look at players for six months to see if they are capable of getting us where we want to be. Our first-team squad is a bit heavy.”
